Temple Culte in Spielact Festival. Le Commun, Geneva.

To talk about her work, Céline Peruzzo uses the German adjective "unheimlich," whose closest French translation by Marie Bonaparte is "d'inquiétante étrangeté" .

For the exhibition SPIELACT, the artist envisions the "Temple Culte" (Cult Temple), bringing together a collection of pieces specifically created for the occasion. Peruzzo presents her first "Dipinto" depicting draped figures frozen in paint, reminiscent of Renaissance paintings while creating an immersive pictorial universe. On the floor, there is a mix of "women frogs" with only their costumes or satin skins remaining. A necklace of hair, a crown of ears, the body becomes adornment, inviting the viewer to recreate a ritual, that of the Cult Temple.

When questioned about her installation, Peruzzo is enthusiastic about having opened a new field of possibilities that she looks forward to developing throughout various spaces and exhibitions..

Tout commence par une idée. Peut-être voulez-vous créer une entreprise. Peut-être voulez-vous donner une nouvelle dimension à un passe-temps.
